Special Educational Needs & Disabilities
Marlborough Infant School is a mainstream school that provides an inclusive education for all its pupils. Through appropriate curricular provision, we respect the fact that children:
- have different educational and behavioural needs and aspirations;
- require different strategies for learning;
- acquire, assimilate and communicate information at different rates;
- need a range of different teaching approaches and experiences.
Our SENCo (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) and inclusion leader is Mrs Sarah Mark-Richards.
As a fully inclusive school, we endeavour to ensure that all pupils thrive both academically and socially. We have a SEND team who are passionate in ensuring that children with additional needs are able to strive to achieve the best of their ability and equip them to deal with real life experiences.
The information provided on our website (SEND Policy and SEND Information Report) will give you an overview of how we can support you and your child, if you have a child with additional needs.
