Our School Day
A school day is 6 hours and 30 minutes long (from morning registration until the end of the day) meaning that, in a typical week, children spend 32.5 hours at school.
A typical day at Marlborough Infant School consists of:
| 08:35 am | Enter school |
| 08:40 am | Children in classrooms |
| 08:45 am | Registration (to be completed by 08:50am) |
| 15:15 pm | Home time |
In the mornings, Year 1 and Year 2 children enter school at the front door and Year R children are taken through the side gate (to the right of the school) to their classroom. At 3.15pm, the end of the school day, Year 2 are collected from the front door. Year 1 and Year R parents go through the side gate and collect their children from their classroom doors.
A member of staff will be available each morning to greet your children and take any messages.
